About Sree Muthappan Seva Samiti

Shree Muthappan Seva Samithi is a registered Charitable Trust constituted by devotees of Shree Muthappan during the year 2007 with a handful of 10 members and has grown to become 100 members.

The basic objectives of the Trust are to serve the society, especially the needy by way of facilitating the financial assistance for food, clothes, shelter, education, sports and cultural activities. We also believe in inculcating our rich cultural heritage to the next generation. With these objectives in mind, in the past we had extended financial assistance to the needy, conducted and participated several cultural programmes, health check up camps, blood donation camps, etc. besides distributing sports kits to the school children. We would like to augment our activities farther.

During this phase, with the blessings of Shree Muthappan, the Trust has purchased a piece of land admeasuring about 6500 square yards in Kalpataru Lake City, Village Vinchhiya, Sanand-Nalsarovar Road, Ahmedabad District. We have already constructed a temple for Shree Muthappan. Just beside to it, we are planning to build a community hall and a party plot, the facility of which will be extended to the poor/downtrodden for marriages and other functions of the village community. However, certain finishing works of Temple, compound wall, borewell, gardening, etc. are in progress.

The Samithi has been granted Income Tax Exemption under section 80-G(5) of the Income Tax Act. The Samithi has been conducting Shree Muthappan Vellattam at Ahmedabad. In the year 2015 the Samithi has built Shree Muthappan Temple at “Kalpataru Lake City”, Sanand-Nalsarovar Road, village Vinchhiya, Taluka Sanand, District Ahmedabad.
